Our shops are currently open from 9am till 4pm Monday to Saturday (closed for lunch between 12pm and 1pm).

Our charity boutique in Weeke, Winchester, offers something a little different in the world of charity shops. You will find our boutique full of high-quality second-hand clothes and accessories at affordable prices.

Here at our Charity Boutique in Hedge End you will find high-quality second-hand clothes and accessories at affordable prices.

Mountbatten West End

Our new West End shop opened in January 2020. Located in the heart of the village, our shop sells clothes for men, women and children, plus shoes, handbags and jewellery. We also have a range of collectables, CDs and DVDs.

Your donations

Thanks to your generosity, our Mountbatten charity shops are well stocked with quality second-hand items.

All the proceeds from our shops go towards providing services for people across Southampton and west Hampshire who are facing death, dying and bereavement. 

What to donate

We gratefully accept the following for sale or recycling

  • Clothing, accessories and shoes (including vintage, retro items and even bras!)
  • Books, stamps and coins
  • CDs, vinyl and DVDs
  • Homeware, such as china, kitchenware, ornaments, pictures, collectables
  • Soft furnishings, such as small rugs, linen, curtains
  • Toys and games
  • Furniture (please note that fabric furniture must include a fire safety label)

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept the following items for health and safety reasons, or because there is no longer any demand for them

  • Personal safety aids, for example helmets
  • Ride-on items with braking equipment, for example bicycles
  • Broken or dismantled items
  • VHS tapes
  • Used pillows/duvets/pet items and bedding
  • Petrol/gas fuelled items
  • Cookers/microwaves/heated blankets
