Monita (Min) Born in Australia in 1962, Min grew up in Cheltenham where she attended the Ladies College and achieved prizes for horse shows and cross country jumping. She rowed for her college at Oxford and went onto a successful career as a Metallurgist including playing a key role in manufacturing aircraft undercarriages and testing nuclear submarines. Married Mike in 1990 and brought up 2 children, Tristan & Helen. Lived in Wiltshire for 15 years and then Meon Valley for 18 years where she was an active member Of Botley Choral Society and Meon Valley Quilters. She battled cancer for 3 years without ever once complaining until she died fairly peacefully on 3rd September at home, surrounded by her family. She leaves a massive hole – she was the intellectual and supportive soul of our family. As well as family, her greatest passions were horses, dogs, patchwork quilting and choral music.
