Second annual David Mellor Golf Day tops Mountbatten Hampshire fundraising total

The second annual David Mellor Jewellers Golf Day has raised a huge amount for your local hospice, Mountbatten Hampshire.

The company's 2026 event, in memory of David, took place on 21 May, at Stoneham Golf Club in Southampton.
The family-run business raised an amazing £15,417.65, topping the amount raised at the inaugural Golf Day, in 2025.
Hampshire businessman, David Mellor, was cared-for by Mountbatten Hampshire and was involved in the planning of the 2025 event before he died.
Caitlyn Sherry, Mountbatten's business partnerships manager, said: "A huge thank you to the Mellor family and everyone involved for your generosity and support. The annual golf day is a lovely event and the vital funds raised help support vital 24/7 end-of-life care in Southampton and across large parts of Hampshire."
