On 13 June 2026, people from across Hampshire took part in a fundraising skydive for your local hospice, Mountbatten Hampshire.

Emma Rose, Lisa Wing and Erin Harries all took the leap from 10,000 feet, high above Salisbury, facing their fears in an adrenaline-filled challenge in support of Mountbatten's 24/7 end-of-life care.

Friends, family and supporters gathered on the day to cheer them on, creating a fantastic atmosphere as each skydiver completed their jump.

So far, their skydives have raised £3,173.75.

A fourth supporter, Jessica Green, will take on her own skydive on 27 June.

Mountbatten’s community fundraiser, Ella Saggers, and corporate partnerships manager, Caitlyn Sherry, were also there to support and celebrate their efforts.

Ella Saggers said: “We’re so grateful to everyone who took part in the skydive — it’s such an incredible and brave challenge to take on. The atmosphere on the day was amazing, and it was fantastic to see so many people supporting each other. The money raised will make a real difference to the people we care for, and their families.”

From everyone at Mountbatten, a huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated and supported the skydivers along the way.
