"Light up a Life is here for us to celebrate our loved ones, and that's what this time of year is all about".

Throughout the joy of this festive season, there are those who rely on the dedication and care of Mountbatten nurses and care teams to ensure their final days are as comfortable as possible and surrounded by kindness, whether at home or at the hospice.

Join Frank and Mountbatten Hampshire by dedicating a light to our online remembrance tree and come together at Light up a Life to enjoy readings, music, carols and a moment of reflection where we will light our candles and pay tribute to those we love.

Light up a Life was held on Sunday 10 December at the hospice in West End. Watch the video of name dedications from the service below.

"Last year, I was invited to many memorial events around Christmas. I went to a few on my own, but being surrounded by families, I was the only person there on my own. You can be in a crowded room and still feel completely alone

Coming to Light up a Life felt different. My friends were all there, people who also find it difficult, but we can support each other."
