Over 200 supporters enjoyed a wonderful day out at Broadlands Estate, Romsey, on Sunday 3 July for our annual Sunflower Walk.

Many chose to dress up in yellow for the occasion to celebrate our 45th anniversary with Paultons Park tickets being awarded to the best fancy dress.

The day was bursting with family-friendly entertainment, including Sparkle Entertainment Hampshire, aerial acrobatics performed by Sabine, the Lovely Bubbly Show, and Jimmy Juggle.

Walkers along the route were serenaded by the Southampton Ukulele Jam band, and folk duo, Mitchel and Vincent.

Special mention for our Mountbatten carer, Stuart, who pulled a hospice bed along the route, racking up the equivalent of seven miles to help raise awareness of our work, particularly our 24/7 service in the community.

The event has so far raised over £18,000! Huge thanks to our volunteers who helped make the day such a success, and to our sponsors for their generous support.
